WORK+SHELTER’s mission is to create fairly paid work for women in need in India while also making it easy for organizations to purchase wholesale quantities of high quality, ethically made, customized sewn goods. They offer paid training to new joiners at their center in Delhi because they understand that investing in women means meeting them where they’re at. Further, their supply chain emphasizes the use of recycled, upcycled, organic materials or lower-impact raw materials.
